St. Louis, MO - The St. Louis Scott Gallagher (SLSG) Girls ECNL Program is delighted to celebrate six current players, who have been invited to participate in the U15 and U16 (2007 and 2006 birth year) USYNT Regional ID Center in Indianapolis, IN this week. The experience is an incredible opportunity for the girls to learn from, be mentored by, and strengthen connections with US. Soccer as well as many of the top talents in their age groups around the country.
Reflecting on her experience at the event, Alex Pfeiffer, 2007, really enjoyed the competition level. "I had a great time playing and competing against the top players in the region. It was also a great opportunity to be coached by such amazing coaches. It was such a fun experience and am looking forward to the next camp!"
Emma Shields, 2007, enjoyed being surrounded by so many talented players the Regional ID Center. "Today was a really cool experience overall. it was amazing being able to play with all of the amazing players that attended the session."
Caroline Birkel, 2006, really appreciated how much she learned at the opportunity. "I really learned a lot from the experience and think it allowed me to grow as a player. When you get big opportunities like these, the biggest thing you can accomplish is knowing you did your best. For me, I was able to achieve that goal and hopefully this will put me in a good place for my future."
Speaking about her time, Grace Restovich, 2006 spoke highly of the experience overall. "I
thought it was a really awesome experience with a talented group of players. It was fun to compete against them and try to showcase my best. I learned and grew as a player from today and from everything we did. I am grateful to be a part of this and being able to play in such a great environment.”
Kiley Kukan, 2006, was humbled by the opportunity. "Big opportunities can lead to very special things. I think we should take the experience to become the best version of ourself."
Maison Smith, 2006, shared her gratitude and thoughts about her participation in the Regional ID Center. "I am really grateful for the opportunity I had to challenge myself in such a strong environment. After the experience, I look forward to reflecting and taking what I learned to grow as a player and person."
