Soccer Park
The preseason training camp is a specialized program designed to prepare athletes for the upcoming soccer season. This camp will improve athletes' skills, conditioning, and mental preparation. Here's what to expect:
- Skill Development:
The camp will provide intensive training sessions to improve fundamental skills relevant to soccer. This includes techniques for shooting, passing, dribbling, etc.
- Physical Conditioning: Athletes will engage in various drills, exercises, and workouts to enhance their physical fitness, strength, speed, agility, and endurance. Conditioning sessions include running, weight training, agility drills, and cardiovascular exercises.
- Nutrition and Recovery: Proper nutrition and rest are essential for athletes to perform at their best. This camp will help guide nutrition, hydration, rest, and recovery strategies to optimize performance and prevent injuries.
- Scrimmages and Game Situations: Athletes will have opportunities to apply their skills and tactics in scrimmage matches or game simulations, allowing them to practice in a competitive environment.
- Feedback and Evaluation: Athletes will get a speed labs profile to assess speed & a VALD force deck profile to assess strength & power.
Schedule
- 9am to 10:15am - sports performance training in the Performance Training Center at Soccer Park.
- 10:15am to 10:30am - break
- 10:30am to 12m - on-field soccer specific training at Soccer Park
