  • Be a positive impact on the maturing process of teenage boys.
  • Continue to build upon and strengthen individual soccer development and connect these items with the players goals.
  • Introduce(at young ages) and provide structure to teach players how to play as a team.
  • Get exposure and find the right post high school situations for the players. Both athletically and academically.
  • Win Championships.

Over the past 10 years, by way of commitment, passion, and competitive drive, the Elite Program has been accomplishing the mission. Countless state cups, regional championships, national appearances, a national championship, national league championships, regional league championships, and scholarships to any and all divisions of college soccer.

BEHAVIOR

The Premier League and P6 League would ask all coaches, players, parents, and spectators to follow the core values of SLSG.

Coaches, parents, and spectators should remember the game is for the player. The game is used as the teacher for the player to continue to grow and to develop. The game environment should not hamper the growth and development of the player. We would ask that the coaches, parents, spectators to be respectful of the environment by not yelling instructions during the games. Cheering and encouragement are welcome as long as it is positive in nature.

The SLSG Management will monitor the games and if there is any behavior out of line, we will address during the game. In addition, we would ask the coaches, parents, and spectators to please be respectful of the referees. Just as it is a developmental environment for the players, it is a developmental environment for the referees. Any abusive language or behavior towards referees will not be tolerated.

Please note that any incidents at Premier League and P6 League Games will be reviewed by the SLSG Management and could result in future suspension or punishment.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

The safety of the players, coaches, management, and spectators are of primary concern during any weather event that occurs during a league match.  These few basic guidelines are designed with players, coaches, referees and spectators in mind. Ultimately, SLSG Management and/or the referees have the final say over delaying or postponing a game due to weather.

Lightning

The World Wide Technology Soccer Park will shut down all outdoor activities if lightening activity is within an eight (8) mile radius of the facility. The SLSG Management and Facility Management will have the ultimate final say in determining if lightening is a safe distance from the facility and the games are able to resume due to other factors.

Cold and Hot Temperature Guidelines

Please refer to the below temperature guidelines for delaying or postponing a game due to extreme hot or cold weather. The SLSG Management and Facility Management will have the ultimate final say in deterring if the temperature is too hot or too cold to play matches.

Cold - U12 and Below - 20 Degrees and Below Cold Index with Wind Chill - No Play

Hot - All Ages - 105 Degrees and Above Heat Index - No Play
