SAINT LOUIS SCOTT GALLAGHER
The SLSG ECNL RL U13-U18/19 teams returned home, having enjoyed a fantastic weekend in Kansas City MO. Combine positive team performances, and the continued growth and development of each player with a program record of 10-1-1 with thirty-nine total goals scored and you have the reason for a lot of people to smile. Each team came out and gave maximum effort when they stepped onto the field and the SLSG ECNL RL staff couldn’t be happier with the results the girls produced over the weekend.
On Saturday, October 10 The RL teams wore pink socks to support/bring awareness to breast cancer awareness month. Playing for the cause must have given the girls extra motivation because the results were most impressive. Versus Sporting Omaha, the RL girls, combined, bagged twelve goals on the day while only giving up six, resulting in 4 wins, 1 lose, and 1 tie. The following day versus Gretna Elite Academy RL may have had its most dominant performance overall, winning all games for a 6-0-0 record. Club Director, Steve Pecher had this to say “What a great weekend for the SLSG ECNL RL teams. Great matches versus two very respected clubs and we were able to walk away with a 10-1-1 record, I’m just really proud of the program. And on a side note, thanks to KC Athletics for hosting the matches to ease travel for all involved.”
The SLSG ECNL RL NAVY Program would like to thank the players and families who traveled this weekend. Their dedication to both the club and the COVID protocols continues to be impressive.
Next up U15-U19 will be competing in Missouri State Cup at SLYSA Complex. Good luck to all the RL teams competing this upcoming weekend.
