As part of our Upper 90 Outreach Program, SLSG hosted students from the Nahed Chapman New American Academy for a day of fun at the Soccer Park.  The New American Academy is a school specifically for kids to learn english.  SLSG has been working with the New American Academy for over 10 years.  We plan to host the New American Academy again next week with an older group.   Many of the kids that we hosted yesterday will become part of our Southside soccer project, which trains players weekly at St. Marys High School in South city.  SLSG’s Southside project is a “no pay to play” soccer program for players in underserved areas of the city. “What an amazing day at the park! Seeing the smiles on their faces and providing them with a professional environment and training staff is what Southside is all about.  I can’t wait till next week to do it all again!” ~Coach Ken
