About This Event:


The SLSG Speed Clinic is a high-intensity training experience built around the proven principles of the USR Speed System. Packed into one day, this camp is designed to elevate athletes' speed performance at all levels. This clinic will break down the science of speed into simple, teachable components: posture, rhythm, ground force, and mechanics.


Athletes will be assessed in 4 categories: acceleration, top speed, change of direction, & power. All metrics will be tracked using state-of-the-art performance technology. All athletes in attendance will receive a personal USR profile with access to results. Be ranked nationally by age, gender, and sport.


Speed is the difference-maker in every sport. This clinic teaches athletes how to accelerate, decelerate, and sprint with purpose — the exact skills that translate into real on-field performance, for any sport.


Participants will gain hands-on coaching in sprint technique, acceleration, top-end speed, and change of direction — all in a competitive, high-energy environment. Whether you're looking to get faster on the field, court, or track… this clinic will teach you how to run with intention, move with precision, and compete with confidence


What To Expect:

🔥Acceleration & Top-Speed Mechanics - learning the fundamentals of explosive, game-changing speed, and efficient sprinting form & technique

⚜️Agility & Reaction Training - develop fast feet, decision-making, and reactive speed for acceleration, and deceleration

💪Injury Prevention & Mobility - learning proper form and technique to recruit the proper muscle groups for reduced risk of injury, and in turn improving movement efficiency and performance


Post-Camp Performance Review

After the event, athletes and families will receive a detailed breakdown of the testing results, outlining key performance indicators and takeaways from the camp. Each participant will receive a handout or digital PDF highlighting drills and the protocols from the camp to add to their own training sessions for continued improvement.

This program is for the young athlete (ages 6-10) who wants to learn physical education while having fun and improving balance, coordination and new movement skills. The goal is to develop all around athleticism and a lifelong love for movement.

The foundation taught in this program will aid the crucial growth and development of your
athlete (ages 11-13) . During this program your athlete will master movement skills and coordination, practice speed and agility techniques, and learn the basics of strength exercise.




ADVANCED PERFORMANCE TRAINING - U14 TO U18


50% - Strength & Power (Dumbbells, Kettlebells, Plyometric, Olympic Lifting)

25% - Speed & Agility (Reaction Time, Resisted Sprinting, Assisted Sprinting, Linear, Lateral, Multidirectional)

25% - Stability, Balance, & Mobility (Upper Body, Lower Body, Core, Body Control, Range of Motion)
 

This program is tailored for serious athletes (ages 13-18) who want to compete at the highest level. The
training will focus on the mastery of all aspects of athletic development.




GOALIE PERFORMANCE TRAINING


The training will be specific to the athletic needs of a goalkeeper in order to enhance sport performance. This unique program is designed to improve multidirectional speed, footspeed and reaction time, explosive power, and functional strength. The aim is to help the athlete feel stronger, faster, and more powerful than the competition. It is a 60 minute program that provides instruction in proper stretching and warm up protocols, injury prevention and rehabilitation, and movement training.
