Upper90 Mission Trip Fundraiser

Tyler Tetzlaff

St. Louis Scott Gallagher received a generous donation from a local business for the upcoming Upper90 Project trip to Honduras. There was a restaurant takeover at the Amigos Cantina in Kirkwood yesterday, January 17th, with proceeds from food orders donated to the upcoming trip.

“Amigos was a top-notch spot with amazing food and service,” said Ken Godat. “Thank you to all that showed up and thanks for the donations.”

The next fundraising event will be on Friday, January 27th 6pm-9pm at the WWT Soccer Park Ball Room. We will be showing a documentary on how Saadiq Mohamed (SLSG Trainer), made it to St. Louis from Somalia.

Both now live in St. Louis and currently train on the SLSG Player Development Staff (Saadiq and Saad). It’s a survival story, a human rights story, and a rare sports journey principally shot and produced in Kenya, Somalia, and the United States.
