U19 Boys Advance to National Final

St. Louis Scott Gallagher Missouri U19 Boys advanced to the Final of the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships last weekend after going undefeated in pool play in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

SLSG earned a spot in the Final after going undefeated in preliminary action with two wins and a draw.

The team started the tournament on Tuesday by earning a 1-0 win over Massapequa Arsenal (NY) with a stoppage time goal from Kaleb Jackson.

In its second game on Wednesday, SLSG got second-half goals from Adam Michel and Jackson to rally from a 2-0 halftime deficit and earn a 2-2 draw against GSA Premier (GA).

The U19’s advanced to the final on Thursday, as first-half goals from Michel, Jackson, and Justin Stinson propelled the side to a 3-1 victory over Scottsdale Soccer Blackhawks (AZ).

In the Final on Saturday night, SLSG fell 3-1 in a rematch with Massapequa Arsenal.
