Congrats to Mitch Hunt on his new full time position with SLSG! Mitch came aboard as a full time staff member this summer and will be the U6-U8, U11 Age Group Director and will spearhead "On-Boarding" (new players / teams). Mitch will also be a Player Development Specialist working as a lead trainer in the Soccer School, Club Training, Tech Training and Player Development Training. Mitch has his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Lindenwood University and a Masters in teaching with K-12 Physical Education certification from Lindenwood. Mitch played four years at Lindenwood from 2011-2015, and has coached in the club for the past five years doing PDT/camps, Soccer School and coaching teams. In the past three years, Mitch has been coaching at Lindbergh High School as a varsity assistant and Head JV coach. Outside of soccer in his free time, Mitch enjoys golfing and fishing. Mitch supports Manchester United.
Congrats to Ado on his new full time position with SLSG! Ado started this summer and will be the U10 Age Group Director as well as our point person for One Day Tournaments and also liaison our City program into Soccer School. Ado will also be a Player Development Specialist working as a lead trainer in the Soccer School, Club Training, Tech Training and Player Development Training. Ado grew up with SLSG and went on to play D1 college soccer at Bradley University and SIUE. After college, Ado played for Saint Louis FC U23 in 2017, then went off to play pro in Bosnia at NK Jedinstvo Bihac (2019-2020). Ado currently plays for the St.Louis Ambush. Ado has been on the SLSG Player Development Staff since 2016 and also started his own private training (Elite Technical Development). Recently Ado was a trainer in our City Program. Outside of soccer in his free time, Ado enjoys hanging out with his friends and is a Chelsea supporter.
Congrats to Zak on his new full time position with SLSG as Director of Youth Player Development! Zak will lead the on field soccer elements of Soccer School and Player Development Training with a main focus on Private 1:1 Training. Zak grew up on the West Coast and received his degree from University of California, Davis after transferring from UCSB, both for which he played soccer. Zak went on to play pro soccer in the NPSL for Sacramento Knights and in the USL for the California Gold. Zak arrived in St. Louis four years ago after 10 years of various coaching positions in California with many top clubs. Zak has been working in Soccer School, Player Development Training and has been specializing in private 1:1 training. Zak is also a Professional Footgolfer! He is a three-time USA national team member and he was on the Footgolf World Champion team in 2016. Outside of soccer in his free time, Zak enjoys playing footgolf and hanging out with his wife, Jacque. Zak supports Manchester United.
Congrats to Lauren on her full time position with SLSG! Lauren will be running the administration side of Soccer School, Player Development Training and Juniors Camps. Lauren will also coach teams on the girls side. Lauren started playing with SLSG in grade school, went on to play at St. Joseph’s Academy and then played at Webster University where she earned her degree. Lauren has coached in the club for the last six years in Soccer School, Player Development Training, Club Training, Technical Training and Juniors Camps. Outside of soccer in her free time, Lauren enjoys training at Orangetheory and watching Friends with her dog Lottie. Lauren is a supporter of the USWNT and Portland Thorns in the NWSL.
Congratulations to Brock on his new position with SLSG! Brock will be the SLSG City Program Director. As director of this program, he will strive to provide high level training and games for those living in the city, from North City, including Mathews Dickey and Lutheran North, to South City at St. Mary’s High and Central City at Forest Park. Brock earned both his Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies and Learning, as well has his Masters Degree in Sports Management at Missouri Baptist University. At MOBAP, Brock was a four-time All Conference selection and continued his playing career with the St. Louis Lions of the PDL, as well as Swanner Futbol Club of PASL. Outside of his playing career, Brock has held several coaching jobs, including his Head Coaching position at Louisiana State University at Alexandria, and at Jefferson College where he was named the MCCAC Coach of the Year in 2019 and led his team to National Ranking Status.
