SLSG MO ECNL Sending Four Players to ECNL National Camp

 

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - SLSG MO ECNL players Hadley Cytron, Grace Bindbeutel, Kinley Brown and Katie Landwehr have all been invited to ECNL National Training Camp in Portland, OR.

 

 

This is the sixth year the ECNL National Training Camp has joined forces with Nike and US Club Soccer (id2), but the first year it has partnered with the International Champions Cup (ICC).

 

 

From July 21st – 27th the ECNL National Selection Committee have selected 40 of the top female soccer players (2000, 2001 and 2002) and participate in an integrated Training Camp with two of the top women’s professional teams in the world - Paris Saint Germain and Manchester City FC.

 

 

 

 

“I can’t wait for the ECNL integrated national training camp,” said Hadley. “This year’s camp will be different and even more competitive from that of last year ECNL id2 national training camp and for that I am honored to be given this opportunity.”

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Grace, Kinley and Katie will join Hadley in Portland, OR on July 24th as part of the ECNL /id2 National Training Camp which includes 90 top players born in 2003, 2004 and 2005.

 

“Being able to represent not only my club but the state of Missouri is such an honor,” said Gracie Bindbeutel, another member of the U15 team.  “Knowing I will be at the camp with my friends will be comforting and a truly exceptional experience for the three of us.”

 

 

 

 

 

"I am honored and most grateful to be invited," said Katie Landwher who is a 2004 and a member of the U15 team.  "I'm so excited to represent the club in a way that exemplfies our core shield values."

 

 

 

 

“Being invited to Portland is a huge accomplishment and honor,” said Kinley Brown a member of the SLSG MO ECNL U15 team.  “Competing against the best will be a challenge but I am looking forward to the increased level of play and competitiveness.”

 

 

“I couldn’t be more excited and proud that we have four girls representing SLSG MO girls at the ECNL National Training Camp in Portland, OR,” said ECNL Director Ralph Richards.  “For these girls to train and play alongside some of the best in the country, has to be exciting for the girls.”

 

 

In addition to the girls training with 130 of the best players across the country, they will also be able to train alongside two professional clubs and watch a game against one another before heading off to Miami, FL for the first women’s International Champions Cup. 

 

 

“Simply a unique and incredible experience for these young ladies to be a part of,” said Richards.
