ID Sessions are the formal tryouts for the SLSG Youth Academy which is our top 3 tiers (Academy, Elite and Premier) from U8 to U12.  This formal tryout typically happens in the spring and is one step in a ID process to evaluate and place players.  We also ID players at all training and games.  Additionally we rely on our team coaches for player feedback. 

- All ID sessions are invite only based on coaches recommendations. 

- If a player desires to tryout, please contact your coach. 

- If your coach does not recommend a you, do not give up.  Seek feedback and work on your evaluation focus areas.   Ask the Age Group Director for things to work on.  Work extra on your own.  SLSG offers Player Development Training to help players improve in all technical and athletic areas - click here.

Our intent with the ID process is to roster players based on like abilities so that maximum player development can be achieved.  After teams are formed, an equal focus is on team unity, team competition and teaching our game model.
