Dear SLSG Manager-
We’d like to start by saying “Thank You” for volunteering your time to serve as the team manager for your child’s team here at SLSG. As a team manager, you serve an integral role for your team, often serving as the liaison from the club and your coach to the members of your team. Your families will come to you with questions and you’ll want to know how to answer them; and if you can’t, you’ll want to know where you can go to find them.
Throughout the season, there will be several important tasks that you’ll need to do for your team. We have designed the new Manager's Handbook to help guide you through all of these tasks and provide you with the necessary information you need to complete them. Anything you should need to do throughout the season you should be able to find in here. Of course, the SLSG staff will always be available to help you in times of need as well. Several of the items included in the handbook are available to download separately from the website for you to print and/or share with your families.
The ultimate goal of the club is to provide all members with the best experience possible. Frequent communication and organization are keys to managing a successful team and will be critical to your success in this role and enhancing your families’ experiences. Part of SLSG’s mission is to “build the best club in the country” and in order to do that, we rely on great managers such as yourself who are willing to help us achieve that goal #UNITY.
Again, we thank you for your willingness to help serve your team and the club. Please review the handbook for instructions and guidance throughout the year to support your team’s needs and always feel free to reach out to the SLSG staff with additional questions and support. We wish you a very successful season!
