The first player registration process required by the club is to register and to pay the SLSG Club Fee. To complete, please go to www.slsgsoccer.com and click on the red button on the homepage which says "Register my Child". Make sure to enroll in the program "SLSG Missouri Club Fee Registration" and complete your order by paying the club fee. As a reminder, no SLSG player will receive a MYSA player card or be put on the official MYSA roster until they have registered and paid for their SLSG Club Fees.
The second player registration process required by the club is to register with Missouri Youth Soccer Association - MYSA (Please note that USSF Academy and ECNL Teams complete a different carding process and the specific director will reach out with specific information). To complete, please go to https://MYSA-SLSG.sportsaffinity.com and click on the blue button at the top right corner of the page which says "Registration". Once there, please click on the blue button that reads “Create New Account.” You will then be asked to create an account as parent/guardian which will include setting up a username and password for yourself. Once your account has been created, you can add members of your family to the account including player(s) and other parent(s) or family members. Please make sure that all parent/guardians for your child is added to the account.
Please note that U6 (2013) and U7 (2012) players should register as recreational players. Please note that if you are a 2012 playing up on a 2011 team, please still register as a recreational player.
Please note that U8 (2011) - U19 (2000) players should register as competitive players.
When you add a player to your account, you will be required to upload a copy of their birth certificate as well as a headshot. Please have these items saved to your computer so you can easily add them during this process. You will not be able to finalize their registration until these items have been uploaded. SLSG asks that current headshots are used and if possible, taken with a plain background behind their head.
Once you have completed both registration processes and paid club fees, your child will then be eligible to be added to the official MYSA roster and issued a MYSA player card. Your manager will work with the club registrars to produce these items. We will update the carding process for managers on the SLSG Managers Website soon.
If you experience any difficulties in the MYSA Affinity registration process, please contact the Affinity Help Desk at 1-800-808-7195. If you need any assistance with the SLSG Club Fee Registration process, please contact your respective club registrar
If you are a coach or manager for a team, DO NOT use this website to register as a coach/manager. All coaches and managers are required to submit a new background check this year. This is done as you create your new Admin Account in Affinity. You will be required to pay a $5 fee for your background check. Additionally, all coaches (not managers) are required to have completed the CDC concussion certification. If you were a coach on an active team last year and have previously completed this course, you do NOT need to do it again. MYSA will be importing your certificate into your new Affinity Admin account. If, however, you are a brand new coach, you will need to complete this course by going to: https://www.cdc.gov/headsup/youthsports/training/index.html and click on “Launch The Course". At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate. Please save that certificate to your computer and then use it to upload into your Affinity Admin account during the registration process. If you are a coach who has previously taken the CDC course but were NOT on any team roster last year, you will need to manually upload your certificate to your Affinity Admin account. Please go to the following website to get registered and approved (by MYSA) as a coach or manager: https://mysa-bgc.sportsaffinity.com
SLSG thanks you for your prompt attention in getting your child registered for both the club and with MYSA so that we can begin the MYSA rostering process.
As a reminder to all of our SLSG members, every SLSG player must be carded through MYSA in order to be covered under secondary insurance through MYSA. There are no exceptions and this year the club will be diligent on checking cards and rosters for leagues (Premier League, P6, SLYSA), tournaments, etc.
