US Soccer Small Side Games Rules and Regulations
The P6 League general rules are listed below:
2 x 25 minute halves with a 5 minute halftime
Any ball that goes out of play will be kicked back in from the ground at the spot where the ball went out of bounds.
No goalkeeper punts are allowed during the game. Coaches are recommended to build the ball out of the back.
Unlimited substitutions are permitted during all matches.
The P6 League will follow the rule of not allowing player ages 10 (U11) and below to head the ball during games.
When a player deliberately heads the ball in a game, an indirect free kick should be awarded to the opposing team from the spot of the offense. If the deliberate header occurs within the goal area, the indirect free kick should be taken on the goal area line parallel to the goal line at the point nearest to where the infringement occurred. If a player does not deliberately head the ball, then play should continue.
The home team will wear white colored jerseys.
The away team will wear dark colored jerseys.
