  Kyle Riebeling - High School Boys Director, 2002 Elite, 2005 Elite, & 2006 Elite I Head Coach



Kyle joined St. Louis Scott Gallagher Illinois in 2013. He has been coaching since January 2009. Before joining the club, he served as the head JV coach and assistant varsity coach at Columbia (IL) High School for over five years. Kyle has been a coach in the Girls Elite Program, Girls Premier Program, and Boys Elite Program. He has also served as the Girls Premier Program Director. Currently, Kyle serves as the SLSG IL Registrar and Early Zone 2 (U13-U14) Director. He coaches in the Boys Elite Program and is an assistant coach for the Saint Louis FC Academy Illinois U14 team. Kyle attended and graduated from Greenville College. He currently lives in Waterloo, IL with his wife and two daughters.

  Kevin Stoll - 2000/2001 Elite Head Coach


Kevin has been a part of the SLSG family for more than 20 years as a player and now coach.  During his time as a youth player with SLSG, Kevin won 7 straight state championships.  Following his youth career, he went on to play collegiately at both UIC and SIUE.  Kevin's playing career was cut short by 2 ACL injuries and upon graduating from SIUE joined the SLSG Illinois staff full time.  Kevin has coached at the Elite and Academy level during his time at SLSG and has since joined Saint Louis University as an assistant for the men's soccer program.

  Brian Groark - 2000/2001 Elite Coach


Brian has served on staff with SLSG since 2013 upon graduating from SIUE where he was a 4 year player. Prior to playing collegiately, Brian grew up playing with SLSG for his entire youth career.  Since joining the club, Brian has served as a coach in the Elite staff as well as an assistant at the Pre-Academy level and as an Individual Coach with Saint Louis FC Academy.  

He, currenlty, serves as a School Psychologist in the Parkway School District

  Jess Semnacher - 2003 Elite Head Coach


Jess is our most recent addition to the Elite staff after joining for the spring 2019 season.  He, currenlty, serves as the head coach of the men's program at Principia College.  Jess has been with Principia since 2002 where he first joined as a collegiate player.  He eventually took over as both the Men's and Women's Soccer Coach at Principia until 2015 when he handed over the women's program to focus solely on the men.  During his time at Principia, he has been named the SLIAC Coach of the Year.

  Aaron Lantz - 2004 Elite Head Coach


Like several other of our Elite staff coaches, Aaron grew up playing for the club during his youth career before moving on to play collegiately at SIUE. Aaron played 4 years at SIUE where he was an All-MVC performer. Aaron joined the coaching staff at SLSG in 2014 first serving as a coach in our youth program. In 2015, he took on his first role as a head coach in our Elite staff and has continued as a coach in the program since.

In addition to coaching with SLSG, he also works as a Senior Marketing Coordinator at Ellie Mae.

  Ricky Andrews - 2004 Elite Coach


Ricky is another new addition to the SLSG Illinois Elite staff.  He has coached within the SLSG Missouri division previously in addition to coaching collegiately.  Currently, he is an assistant coach at Lindenwood Belleville. Previously, he has served as the Associate Head Men's and Women's Soccer Coach at Fontbonne University as well as an assistant at East Central Community College. Ricky grew up in England where as a youth he joined the famed Arsenal FC Academy. He eventually made the move to the US where he played collegiately at Harris Stowe Univerity. In 1998, he was named an All-American as he helped Harris Stowe to their first appearance in the NAIA National Championship.

  Alec Waller - 2006 Elite II Head Coach, 2006 Elite I Assistant Coach


Alec played for St. Louis Scott Gallagher Illinois for seven years during his youth until graduating high school. He began coaching for SLSG in the fall of 2018, which was also the start of his coaching career. Alec grew up in West Palm Beach, FL and moved to Columbia, IL after elementary school. He played soccer his freshman year at Columbia High School before playing his final three high school seasons with SLSG in the Development Academy. After high school, he played colliegiately at Florida Gulf Coast University and then McKendree University. He is currently working to complete his degree in marketing at SIU Edwardsville.

Daniel Brennan

  Daniel Brennan - Boys Director of Goalkeeping


Daniel has served as a Goalkeeper Coach with SLSG since 2017.  He played for the club as a youth player in the Development Academy for three years before moving on to play collegiately at the University of Louisville and Salisbury University. After graduating, he joined SLSG as a staff coach. He now serves as the club's Director of Goalkeeping for Illinois Boys. He is also a graduate assistant coach for the men's soccer program at McKendree University where he is working towards a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Daniel currently resides in Collinsville, IL.

  Nathan Steinmetz - SLSG Illinois Director of High Performance

Nathan joined the club in 2016 after spending 17 years coaching on the field at various levels including USYS National League and Midwest Regional League. During that time, Nathan also worked with various sports organizations as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Most notably, Steinmetz spent five years at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville working with multiple teams in the NCAA Division I Athletics program. While there, he completed his Master’s Degree in Sports Psychology, which gave him a very comprehensive view of performance and allows him to assist and improve players in both the physical and psychological factors associated with high-performance.
