At the start of the 2018-2019 season, St. Louis Scott Gallagher announced a partnership with the Disabled Athlete Sports Association (DASA) and welcomed the competitive power soccer team into the club for the 2018 DASA season and beyond.
The Disabled Athlete Sports Association (DASA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization specializing in competitive and therapeutic sports and fitness opportunities. The athletes of DASA are encouraged to seek their highest level of independence and become involved to the fullest extent with their non-disabled peers and their community as a whole. DASA programs introduce both children and adults to sports and fitness activities that promote physical fitness, self-confidence, family values, and a positive, team-building environment designed to encourage personal growth throughout all aspects of life.
DASA currently offers three (3) power soccer teams ranging in skill from recreational to competitive. SLSG Power Soccer teams wear club uniforms and are recognized as full members of the historic youth soccer organization.
