FENTON, Mo. – A total of 14 St. Louis Scott Gallagher goalkeepers have signed National Letters of Intent with NCAA Division I and Division II soccer programs.

The group includes eight Missouri girls’ players and six Missouri boys’ players from 11 different SLSG teams. A complete list of the players, their club team, and the university or college they plan on attending is below.

“We are very proud of all of the goalkeepers who have committed to play at the next level,” SLSG Director of Goalkeeping Tim Kelly said. “It’s a testament to the players for all of their hard work over the years. All of these goalkeepers embraced the challenge of having healthy competition against each other both in games and in training.”

There are 12 different academic institutions in six different states represented in this group of SLSG goalkeepers. Drury and Rockhurst were the only two schools with more than one signee.

Kelly praised the group’s ability to push one another both on the field, an asset he believes was vital in this number of players reaching the collegiate level of competitive soccer.

“Our staff is proud to have this many goalkeepers committing to play collegiately, but we are more proud of how these players helped each other reach their goals,” Kelly continued. “Without their work ethic and commitment not only to themselves but also to the group, this opportunity would not exist.

“It has been a joy to work with this class of goalkeepers, and their support for the team coaches has been just as important in their development,” Kelly added. “This is a very proud moment for the SLSG goalkeeper program and we thank this class, and the ones before it, for helping to open the door for our future players. We are very proud to have all of our goalkeepers moving on to their next stage of life to continue SLSG’s values of Unity, Humility, Passion, Respect and Tradition.”
